Chop Chop Sandwich

Here on Sandwiches of History, I do a lot of recipes from old recipe books. But I think it’s important to capture recipes that are handed down within families. Which is why I do the sub-segment, Sandwich of Our History. Specifically @jenwaluvs on Instagram who shared this recipe that her grandfather Harold used to make. It features butter, butter, hard boiled eggs, and green onions (scallions) on toasted pumpernickel bread. And yes, I intentionally had butter listed twice in the ingredients. Honestly, this does sound tasty if not, a bit butter-forward.
